Made from Myth
Blowing the Winds
While measuring Truth
Tasty as Always.
My LIfe-Long Sweet Tooth.
Chewing through answers
Long Jarred on the Shelf
In my childhood’s Bedroom.
Where I hid my bright self.
Fears and their folly.
Filled wholes of fat.
Swallowing Garbage
I was made mostly of that.
Told Terrible LIes.
Broken Wisdom Bled eyes.
Saw fangs in dark places.
Smelled disappointment behind…
Once-friendly faces.
Pushed into a square
Caged options for food
No matter my intuition.
Seemed never ever good.
So I severed my contacts
To family and home.
And plugged into forever
Still…Fore-Ever I Roam.
