It's ALL Over.
My chest wrings hollow
Viewing familiar faces…
Glossed and Dulled
In the modern Varnish.
Dulled by duties, belief and other
shadowy ideals of Monetary Gains.
Oh…the pains….Confusing
Cash with Currency.
Crashing knot Forever in Motion.
Movements on Spirit’s Wondrous Reigns.
I still feel that painful something
Looking at those we should
Love always…but…
Having no choice but to move along.
To Go…To Flow…
I Know, what you may also know
No need to tell anyone.
In truth, with our Death.
We are all, each and everyone of us…
All-Ways Alone.

Powerfull work. The image of being glossed in modern varnish captures the suffocation of societal expectations perfectly. That line about confusing cash with curency reminds me of conversations I had in college about what actually holds value. The acceptance of solitude at the end doesn't feel nihilistic tho, more like a necessary truth people avoid.
